Doc Feldman & The LD50 – Sundowning at the Station (This Is American Music)

Having listened to Sundowning at the Station by Doc Feldman & The LD50 more than any other album since its release in July, the raised hair and tears that came with my first listen still occur. Not since seeing Robert Henri’s painting, Snow in New York, in person has a work of art elicited such a physical response from my being.

I stated in my review (here) that Sundowning at the Station was a contender for album of the year; I remain firmly behind that statement. To paraphrase a line from “Let it Go,” I’ve said what I needed to say about Sundowning at the Station.
